Is it possible to change the model of a stage marker to a different 3D object than the default yellow ball? I'm aware of right clicking and choosing "Change Model" which does the change the object, but it will freeze in place and no longer move with the marker commands from the console. If you assign lights to the Marker they will respond as if they're tracking it, however the new model does not move in space. You can move the model manually and if you place the new 3D object as a "child" under the Stage Marker folder, it works fine as the yellow ball remains and the new model lays on top of it. I'm trying to use Rotation and Scale of the Stage Marker II. I believe a marker needs to have a different model assigned other than the default yellow ball in order to offset lights and be able to properly follow/track the rotational axes of the object based on its size.
Does it need to fall under the "Marker Layer" Class in ordear to work as a marker object?
