Your Flash-drive needs to be configured as a Removable Drive not a Mass Storage device, to be available in the OnPC-tabs for external drives
e.g.: USB stick that will not be available for OnPC
Additionally your flash-drive needs to be formated with FAT32 to be readable by the Linux OS in the consoles
