LUA is a scripting language which is implemented in GMA2 since v3.1.0.x and can be used to do tasks beyond the regular programmer, where macros are just "sequenced" command tasks from the command line. For specific LUA questions i would recommend the LUA Plugin forum, which can be found HERE
