Hi all, Thought I would share this plugin with you. It splits the variable $selectedexec into two global variables $Selectedexecnumber and $Selectedexecpage, so you can use these in macro's. I have seen some posts about this, but couldn't find a definitive answer, so maybe this might help someone. Don't forget to add a little wait time of 0.05s, just to be shure te plugin finishes before contby mctober - grandMA2 Plugins & Lua Scripts
Hmm, I have tried that for Chrome 70 and Android 8.0.0, but that didn't work so far. Using Microsoft Edge for android for the time being.. The trick from Glad worked for Chrome on my laptop, but that's not really a portable solution.. :-)by mctober - grandMA2 discussion forum
You could use dmx-remotes to let the VJ control executors with single parameters. From there you could control the channels/executors the usual way. If you're not afraid of programming you could also create a Max 7 patch to merge the channels from the VJ.. ;-)by mctober - grandMA2 discussion forum
Another option is to check the system variables. If it changes from console to onpc, fire a macro to delete everything. Not perfect, but more like a virus.. ;-)by mctober - grandMA2 discussion forum
There is a workaround with remote dmx: 1) patch a few dimmers on a universe you don't use. 2) assign the effects you want on separate executors on a page you don't use. 3) assign the dimmers as remotes for the executors with the effects of step 2). 4) program the master with the dimmer which remote controls the effect at full and store that in a cue. 5) repeat step 4) with the different efby mctober - grandMA2 discussion forum
It seems more like a driver-problem, did you try to use an older/newer driver for your gpu? I once had the problem with a nuc, opening multiple screens on Onpc caused a little shivering which was solved by using an older driver.by mctober - grandMA2 discussion forum
I bought another accespoint in the end, a Mikrotik. Not really compact anymore, but no session collisions, and 2,4ghz plus 5ghz. The problem seems to be the other accespoint...by mctober - grandMA2 discussion forum
Hi all, I'm having some problems with adding an wireless accespoint to my setup, which is: Two onpc-systems, connected wired through a switch. One with a command+faderwing, one as a backup. Both version 3.3.2.2, although the problem also occurs with older software-versions. I have an accespoint GL-AR150 with openwrt on it. Use this macro: line 1: Assign Flash ExecButton1 1 Thru 45 wait: follow line 2: Label Macro "SWOP flash" "FLASH swop" wait: go line 3: Assign Swop ExecButton1 1 Thru 45 wait: follow line 4: Label Macro "FLASH swop" "SWOP flash" wait: go This way you can tell by the label of the macro if swop is on or not. Hi, Thanks all, I still find it a bit arbitrary, keypresses are recorded, but not macro's. Go-commands are recorded, but not when they are in a macro. The workarounds are ok though! :-)by mctober - grandMA2 discussion forum
Hello all, I recently recorded some timecode-tracks in 3.3.2.2 and noticed that macro's under executor-buttons or the Go-commands in a macro are not recorded in the track. Is this intentionally? Does a workaround exist for this? Cheers, Mark.by mctober - grandMA2 discussion forum
search for the topic 'web remote not working on one computer', I had the same problem, maybe this is the solution to yours as well! ;-)by mctober - grandMA2 discussion forum
Had the same problem, eventually found it. search for 'web remote not working' , there you will find the topic with a possible solution. ;-)by mctober - grandMA2 discussion forum
Thanks for the help, finally found it today! Was a process that was already using port 80, killed it via the device manager: view-> 'show hidden devices' 'non-plug and play drivers'-> http-> disable Just hope I didn't kill any other important processes.. :-)by mctober - grandMA2 discussion forum
I understand, this setup was just for testing. I have done some more testing: All the computers (2 laptops, 1 desktop) on a wireless router via physical lines, my phone connected via wifi. I can use the webremote on the desktop and one laptop. The other laptop still doesn't work with the web remote. I have tried the non-working laptop via wifi, still no luck. On that laptop is a second pby mctober - grandMA2 discussion forum
Sorry if I wasn't clear: In the end I want to use the web remote on a mobile phone via wifi. I can reach the webserver of the desktop and the second laptop via a webbrowser on both pc's. It seems the laptop with the wing doesn't start a webserver. All other connections work, I can even see the data coming in when I look at the network-packets send and recieved on that laptop. cheers,by mctober - grandMA2 discussion forum
Hello all, I have a problem with the web-remote, this is my setup: - 1 laptop with command wing, win7 with ip 2.0.0.20 - second laptop, win10 with ip 2.0.0.200 - desktop, win7 with ip 2.0.0.1 1 session, 1 user (so the all do the same), no connection-problems. On the second laptop and the desktop the web-remote works fine, but on the first laptop I can't get it to work. All firewallsby mctober - grandMA2 discussion forum
In the network-settings/Art-Net, is the mode set to 'OutputAuto'? I had a problem once with this setting: the first universe was send as a unicast (to one ip-adress) instead of a broadcast (to all network-equipment). All the other universes were send as broadcast. Changing this setting to 'OutputBroadcast' helped for us, it might help for you as well.by mctober - grandMA2 discussion forum
