For months now I've trying to get MA2 OnPC to recognize and listen to the musci playing on the computer. Everywhere I've looked has said some version of "MA2 will use the system default recording device" but I've tried; * Changing the default * Adjusting an apps output to target the default input specifically * Using the Stero Mix * Virtual audio cables * Virtual Audio managementby ijveen - grandMA2 discussion forum
Hi Ryan thanks for the response! I think this has gotten me halfway to what I was hoping for. Setting everything to LoTP and running the cue does allow the 1st controllers DMX through and has given me dimmer control. However, now if turn off that cue and try to do anything from MA2 it will only output on top of what the first controller is outputting. For example, lets say I have grid of fby ijveen - grandMA2 discussion forum
Lately I've been playing around with passing through a DMX universe from a separate controller through MA2. Everything that I've tried so far allows me to add onto the DMX from MA2 but not subtract, i.e. if the first controller sets channel 1 to 150, I would be able to add onto it and bring it up to 255 but I can't get it to go below the value set by the 1st controller. I tried using a virtual audio cable, set MA on PC to use the virtual audio cable as its input through Windows settings, restarted MA on PC and still nothing. To clarify, I'm wanting MA on PC to listen directly to it's own audio output, not rely on a external microphone. Is that possible?by ijveen - grandMA2 discussion forum
I've been trying for a while now to get any sort of sound input using just GrandMA2 on PC but cannot get it to work. Do I need a special audio card in my computer or will it work with the Stereo Mix? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'd like to be able to have effects react to a BPM rather than the manual speedmaster learn.by ijveen - grandMA2 discussion forum
