Perhaps I'm missing something, but as far as I remember, you DON'T have to go to "Console/Software Update", but to "Network/MA Network Configuration", "DMX Node Tab" and choose the SPECIFIC "2Port SW Update", as I mentioned in my previous message.
I've always updated from here. I think (but I'm not sure) that the "Console/Software Update" is for Series 2 nodes and not the old ones from MA1.
